About Ramsey Abarca

Picture
I am a lawyer licensed by the State Bar of Texas since 2002.  My Texas Bar No. is 24036102.

I graduated with a BS from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas in 1999.  At A&M, I was a President's Endowed Scholar.

I graduated with a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas in 2002. I was a member of the Texas Tech Law Review, an academic journal published by the law school.

I have practiced law for nine years, representing a variety of clients. When I moved to Austin in 2005, I spent two years serving the public as as assistant attorney general in the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.

After working for other lawyers in the first part of my career, I have chosen to pursue solo law practice and explore the professional benefits of being an attorney-entrepreneur.

My law practice is focused exclusively on the representation of other entrepreneurs running a microbusiness, what I call an enterprise with one to nine employees.

Serving microbusiness is professionally rewarding because such clients have a personal investment in the services I provide. Plus, I run a microbusiness myself and I find working with other entrepreneurs to be inspiring and motivating.

I live in north Austin with my wife and daughter.
